The next revolution for professional squash is just around the corner – TopSquash referee pro, a fully integrated referee console which brings technology to referee decision making and audience presentation is being launched by ASB, the heart of squash innovation. The use of cutting edge technology ensures a smoothly run of a game and precise real- time information on referee decisions for spectators via screens. The three match referees carry an iPod touch, used as a referee controller, that allows free movement around the court and deals automatically with decision making from stroke / let to not ups and out. The outcome of decisions is clear and seen on the score screen. Discussions with the referees will be solved before they arise. The system is so easy to use and so integrated that it is sure to become a future necessity in professional games. The launch date will be later this year.
