ASB Squash News
On the occasion of the British Open in , ASB’s CEO, Horst Babinsky, renewed the “ASB French Connection” together with his French ASB Partner Thierry Maingot. The top players from France Greg Gaultier (No. 2 seed) and Thierry Lincou (No. 8 seed) had not only come to Manchester to “do their job” on the ASB ShowGlassCourt, but also to renew the longstanding partnership with ASB and especially with ASB France. “Both players have promoted the success of squash in our country. Without them squash would not have developed that way. Together with ASB they will continue to be ambassadors for squash all over the world, so that this fantastic sport will continue to improve its image”, commented Thierry Maingot during the meeting in Manchester.
They will next perform together in Kuwait – The players’ “lounge”, the ASB Show GlassCourt will also be erected for this event. Thierry Lincou will try to add another World Open title to his title from 2004 and Greg Gaultier will do everything to not only come to the finals – as he did in 2006 and 2007 – but to win the finals for the first time.”
