The US Open 2014 in Philadelphia were held on an ASB ShowGlassCourt. Drexel University’s Daskalakis Athletic Center basketball arena was transformed into one of the most exciting squash venues on the calendar. US Squash wanted the best possible court they could get and for ASB, this meant once again, delivering top-notch quality on a very tight schedule to live up the rest of the brilliant event.

Malaysian World No1 Nicol David was a worthy winner to defeat young Egyptian Nour El Sherbini in straight games. In an all- Egyptian affair had to fend off Mohamed Elshorbagy one of the greatest players of all time, Amr Shabana, to win his first US Open title in 4 games. Players, coaches, sponsors and US Squash as the organizer of the tournament were very satisfied with the event and completely persuaded of our product. ASB is happy to announce that the US Open next year will be hosted once again on the ASB ShowGlassCourt, using the latest generation ASB ShowGlassCourt with LED marking lines, television optimized floor.
