Squash Arena Disporasu
There is a new world class squash venue in Indonesia. We have installed four brand new ASB System100 squash courts with two ASB Movable SideWalls to allow for singles and doubles on the same courts by moving the walls in the respective position. This qualifies the centre for all top tier events and also allows for perfect training conditions for local athletes.
Squash Arena Disporasu, located on Jalan PBSI Kenangan Baru, Pancing, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra (Sumut) received a recommendation to host international matches at the Southeast Asia level which is planned to be held in 2025. Mohamad Bin Abdullah Arrffan, the international technical delegate appointed by KONI Pusat in charge of Sports said: "I see in this arena as the most appropriate and best facility and it is one of the best in Indonesia,“
Mr Arrffan, who has a position as Tournament Director at the World Squash Federation (WSF), Asian Squash Federation and also Southeast Asia Squash Federation, praised the facilities at the Disporasu Squash Arena. He said, in addition to providing good supporting facilities and rooms, this arena also has the four best world-class courts.
Therefore, he recommended verbally and will also be in writing in the report as Tournament Director so that this arena can also be used as a national training venue as well as hosting the prestigious South Asian Cup.
As the completion date was set in early September, our crew has done miracle work to make up for a delay during the long shipping process from Europe to Indonesia. Big thanks to our crew to have made this possible and get the courts ready for the athletes on time for the Games.
