ASB GlassCourts overview - indoor use

Lets play squash on glass!

When dealing with glass courts, the usual questions from clients are:

- What would we suggest for this venue?

- What surface do your recommend?

- What are the benefits of this surface?

Here is a quick overview of our GlassCourts portfolio for indoor courts to give you an idea what options are currently available:

ASB ShowGlassCourt
The ASB ShowGlassCourt has a stunning visual appearance and allows promoters and event organizers to stage major tournaments in superb locations in a creative and innovative fashion – thanks to the glass with the “one-way-vision” effect. Dark colours are used for the walls to get best TV appearance and for the floor in order to provide maximum contrast for the ball (a white ball will be used). The colour of the walls and the floor are essential in their effect on ball visibility when broadcasting. The ASB ShowGlassCourt is popular among all players for providing ideal playing conditions and is acclaimed by the TV industry for creating a dramatic setting that adapts perfectly to the demands of such a high-speed televised sport.

This court can be taken up and down at different locations. It can travel from event to event and create a highly attractive setup not only for the local audience but also for TV cameras and viewers.

ASB PermanentGlassCourt
The ASB PermanentGlassCourt is a major game changer for the squash market, as for the first time it is possible to use a tailor-made glass which is satin-finished and usually installed using a special construction that can be mounted to any kind of wall (or free standing in some cases). The decay of plastered squash walls, dents and stains in walls made of other materials due to ball impact over time, is a major issue for every centre owner or manager. Especially the annual maintenance in connection with the down time of the court has been a problem. With this new system this has an end. Once installed the court gives every player a glass court playing experience and it is practically maintenance free and easy to clean. The newly developed fitting system allows fast installation which is a clean job without dust or dirt in the centre.

So, if you are looking for an easily maintainable glass court with permanently fixed non-transparent glass walls, this is the best choice.

ASB PermanentGlassWall10
ASB PermanentGlassWall10 is based on a 6mm thick tempered glass fixed to various types of supporting structural constructions. This makes it a perfect solution for modernising existing squash court centres as well as building new squash courts. ASB PermanentGlassWall10 is suitable for both our systems (ASB System40 and ASB System100) as well as other court types. This innovation benefits from the best characteristics of our squash court wall systems and adds an extra bonus through its additional durability and marketing opportunities. The ASB PermanentGlassWall10 is available in various colours. 6mm glass panels are fixed directly onto a squash court wall surface upgrading it to a lifetime glass court playing experience.

The system is particularly suitable for a lifetime renovation of individual squash court walls (usually front walls) or for a complete court. This means if you plan to upgrade your current squash courts or even build new courts with glass wall benefits, go for this one!
