Two ASB ShowGlassCourts in World Championship and El Gouna action - Cairo and El Gouna 2022

CIB PSA World Championships 2022 – May 13-22 2022, Cairo

For the first time in the history of the biggest squash event, the PSA World Championships – 1.1 million US Dollars prize money (equal payment for women and men) – two ASB ShowGlassCourts have been erected. One ASB ShowGlassCourt with two doors in the sidewalls, owned by the Egyptian Squash Federation, at the Club S Allegria Giza/Cairo, and one brand new ASB ShowGlassCourt (standard middle door at the back wall) at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, an outstanding location.

The action from both ASB ShowGlassCourts was shown on PSA SquashTV, the semi-finals and final was also shown live on mainstream broadcasters such as e. g. BT Sport, Fox Sports Australia, Astro and more.

The event was recognized world-wide and players, media representatives and spectators alike appreciated a perfectly and smoothly organized presentation of squash.

Two weeks before the World Championships, the brand new ASB ShowGlassCourt was installed at a separate venue, where a significant number of Egyptian players (Ali Farag, Tarek Momen, Karim Abdel Gawad, Nour El Tayeb, Hania El Hammamy and many more …) had the chance to test the latest ASB innovation: the new version of the ASB GlassFloor used for squash.

The next occasion for the ASB ShowGlassCourt will be the CIB PSA World Tour Finals, in Cairo, June 20-26 2022.
